If you’re a new parent, you’re probably overwhelmed with all the decisions you need to make. Finding a New Jersey newborn photographer doesn’t have to be one of them.

Don’t worry, I’m here to help!

As a New Jersey newborn photographer, I understand the value and importance of capturing these early moments of your baby’s life!

Remember, your newborn photos will hang on your wall for years to come. My twins newborn photos have hung on my wall for the past 10 years, and will forever be on my wall. This is why choosing the right newborn photographer is so important. Let me guide you through the process and provide you with all the information you need to capture the early moments of your baby’s life.

Let’s dive into some of the most common questions about newborn photography

“What should I look for when hiring a New Jersey newborn photographer?”

It’s important to choose a photographer who specializes in newborn photography and who has experience working with infants. During my in-home newborn sessions, I’m dedicated to providing a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable experience for you and your baby. I understand the importance of capturing these early moments, and I take pride in creating beautiful, timeless memories that you’ll cherish for years to come.

“What can I expect during a newborn photography session?”

During a newborn photography session, I’ll work to create a comfortable and safe environment for you and your baby. Since I shoot lifestyle newborn sessions, I focus on capturing more natural and organic poses of you and your baby, as well as your partner and siblings. I don’t use a lot of props during the newborn session, but use natural elements from the baby’s environment. These can include photos of the baby sleeping in the crib or bassinet, or photos of the baby sleeping in your arms. To capture the best moments, it’s important to schedule your newborn photography session as early as possible, ideally within the first two weeks of your baby’s life.

“What do I Need to do Before the Session?”

I have been a New Jersey newborn photographer for a few years, and I always recommend feeding the baby before the session begins. This way, the baby is well fed and more willing to sleep and not fuss. I also tell my clients to make sure their homes are nice and warm. In the winter, this means turning the heat up or in the summer, turning the AC down. Babies like a warm and cozy environment to sleep. If they are cold, they are more like to get fussy and uncomfortable. You also don’t have to make sure your house is clean or organized. I may move around furniture or ask you to remove some items from the background, but there is no need to clean before the newborn session.

“How much does a New Jersey newborn photographer cost?”

New Jersey newborn photographers vary greatly in price. My newborn photography package is $475 and that includes 2 hours of coverage, as well as the full gallery of images. I also offer bundle packages for maternity + newborn photos. I know this might seem like a significant investment, but keep in mind that newborn photography is a specialized service that requires a lot of time and effort. I’m dedicated to providing high-quality images that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

My name is Danielle. I started Danielle Stio Photography in 2021. There is something about being an entrepreneur that really motivates me. This is more than a hobby for me. It is a passion and a calling.
I started this business at a very dark time in my life. I was searching for meaning and purpose and I found that through photography. My hope is that I can put a smile on my clients faces not only during their session , but after their session; and especially when their gallery is delivered.
